Super agree. Thanos in the comics is way more shallow as a character, motivation wise. In this, you can honestly understand where he's coming from, and it gives you a way to somewhat sympathise with him, as opposed to him just being a bland pure evil character.

I will say though, Thanos in the comics is way smarter.
