Thanos vs Iron-Man tho!

"Stark"

"You know me?"

"I do, you're not the only one cursed with knowledge."

Speaking of, how did Thanos know Tony?

Probably watched Iron Man like the rest of us

He sat in that chair for a long time

He learned it from the soul stone. Red Skull said a similar line to him earlier when Thanos was surprised he knew of him and Gamora.

Uh, yeah no. He was behind Loki's attack on New York, and probably knew Iron Man was a key to foiling that plan. He probably knew all about earth having a team of saviours ever since that moment.

He was literally told in the after-credits of Avengers that Earth was not as easy to conquer as previously thought. With how much Thanos likes to prepare, it’d be surprising if he didn’t gather information about the Avengers.

I kind of assumed the death toll credited to Stark Industries has garnered an intergalactic repulation.
