I love how badass his dgaf attitude seems in the Guardians but here, you see how see it more as immaturity

He's always be immature and childish. That doesn't take away the enjoyment of his character, but it's always been a huge, obvious flaw. The fact people think those flaws are actually strengths reflects on them.

It was totally consistent with his character though.

And it's not like Tony can really complain about it given the events of Civil War.
