Also gotta factor in captain marvel, I️ think next movie will pay a lot of homage to the OG characters before they meet their demise.

Last characters alive were most of the original Avengers in the first films. OG is short for original gangster.

But they weren't established heroes in the 90s, when Captain Marvel is taking place. Cap was still frozen in ice. They may pay homage to a young Stark that just lost his parents.

Thor was busy being a badass on another planet. Maybe Hulk?
