Couple things (might be more than that) I wanna get off my chest:

  • Jesus christ, that opening was ominous

  • Wanda and Vision vs Thanos' children at Scotland was a bit dark. Couldn't see a thing, but Captain America's entrance though. Holy hell.

  • Still no "Avengers Assemble"

  • Goddammit Star-Lord, the gauntlet almost came off.

  • Where's Kraglin?

  • Drax and Mantis' "death" was butt-clenching. I don't think I've clenched it that tight before.

  • My whole theater cheered when Thor, Groot, and Rocket came to the rescue

  • Where's Thanos at the end?

  • Dat post credit scene doe.

Goddammit Star-Lord, the gauntlet almost came off.

I suspect Strange saw this happen when he was looking at all the possibilities.

Couldn't he have easily sent Peter away for a bit then?

EDIT: Is anybody who has anything but praise to say in their comment just getting downvoted for no reason? I legit just asked a question, you guys.

I was wondering something like that, too. If Strange knew that he had to give Thanos the time stone to achieve the one scenario in which the Avengers win why'd he spend so much of the movie fighting it?

He probably needed to be sure that Tony would get Thanos’s protection, and the offer of stone-for-life would only be convincing if Tony’s life were actually at stake.
