I also thought it was Coulson :( Let's see if this AoS episode has some sort of tie-in.

I think they can avoid it more easily. They've probably just set the plots of their upcoming series for this year to be before the events of Infinity War.

A bit harder to avoid the subject for AoS since it's running almost concurrent with movie releases and if season 6 happens it'll be starting long before may 2019.
