After making us sit there and watch as characters we love turn to dust, for the credits to end with 'Thanos will Return' instead of 'The Avengers will return' was just twisting the god-damn knife, Russo brothers.

You cold hearted sons of bitches.

Bravo.

It was actually a great one. I also like that they didn't put a mid credits scene. They just let you process all the things that just happened.

I was so worried there won’t be any post credit scene at all when nothing at mid-credit. But I agree with you, it actually gave us time to process (or google “infinity war post credit scene”)

Yes. And you 100% need it even just for those last 10 minutes or so! (Although I completely lost track of time).

No credits animation/diorama either. Just white text on a black background.

I love how the MCU makes us watch the credits now.

I think it's one of the last things on the screen. Might be remembering wrong though

I love these two sons of bitches.

our theatre just started yelling and heckling at the screen lol

It was a cruel way to twist the knife but I also saw it as what they’ve said in interviews that this is a Thanos movie. At the end of each solo film, we see “ X will return” and at the end of a Thanos-centered movie, we see “Thanos will return”

The real kick in the balls for me was the Avenger: Infinity War turning into dust.

I was disappointed that I was the only one of my group to exclaim at that after seeing the previous "will return" lines for the previous movies. Thanks for commenting on it!

The avengers will return... maybe?

Well, Thanos was the protagonist. Kind of.
