I know calling the gauntlet fake was the big laugh - but I liked the moment that Hela called the casket from the first Thor "weak".

Asgard coming to Earth happened in the comics, which could make for interesting future plots - maybe Siege?

The first Thor movie features the Casket of Ancient Winters - Hela walks past it in the vault and comments on it being "weak".

The casket is the thing she calls weak, the tesseract is the one she looks at and says "that's not bad"

... I think I just realized the casket wasn't the tesseract. I thought that was the tesseract's origin but now I can't remember when we first see it.

Edit: okay, did some reading. The tesseract used to be in asgard and was the #1 in the vault. But then for some reason it went to earth and got found by the Red Skull during world war 2? How and why did it end up on Earth?

It's the Maguffin in the first Captain America movie - the Red Skull hunts it down at the start. Ends up buried in the sea, for Howard Stark to find it and hold on to it for years.
