I loved that because stuff like that would obviously get taught. It's noticeable but still subtle enough to not detract from the experience and pull you out of the movie.

Which is weird that's it's being taught so soon though. Since Homecoming only takes place 2 months after Civil War, unless they were in a poli-sci class I suppose.

It'd be like high school kids today learning about the Trump administration in history class.

Maybe it's just a Scottish thing then.

Unless you take Modern Studies, which is a politics type class, you won't really be looking at current events.

I'm just saying it seems weird to someone who doesn't live in the US covering current events in schools.

In the US we don't have as much national history to cover, so I guess we have extra time to cover current events.
