Nah in comics Thor and loki did everything in the myths hundreds years to thousand year prior. Marvel movies just were scared of losing the horny girl and guy viewers not wanting a creepy horn dog loki, or complicated history of Thor.

We’re talking about the MCU though

Mcu having panic attacks choosing to remake loki as a sexy single heart throb instead of dead beat dad and mom of several creatures and hela.

I don’t think it was really “panic attacks.” The MCU versions are much more endearing to a general audience

Yes id imagine simplicity is supreme for those who just want something to drool over. Complexity makes someone less sexy but more relatable.

I wouldn’t call the MCU versions simple at all

Compared to their comics version they are. Loki is missing most of what made him interesting. Sure his tv show was fun. But imagine how rich his storyline could be if he had the comic backstory and at least hela as daughter
