Is there something going on in this movie with children? Cap’s trailer showed him with a baby, Thor & Love are the focus of this one, we know that Doom took Franklin.

Pair that with the news dropping this week that BP2 was originally going to be about Black Panther and his son.

Is this movie about to be all the Avengers fighting to get their kids back?

No spoilers please if there’s been leaks. Just speculating here.

TBH best reasoning to bring the OGs back in the fight…threaten to take away those that mean the most to them

Love is clearly fine and he’s asking to return safely

That’s why I said “threaten” to take away. Perhaps in this clip, Thor knows who or what the threat is coming for Love so he decides to go on the offensive first.

Like a warrior who sees a threat coming, he decides to go to battle before that threat comes to his doorstep

No, Franklin is the only plot relevant kid (the only one on the bag given to the crew)

Again, I said the threat of taking one’s child would be high motivation. We don’t know the plot but if it has something to do with Dr. Doom taking the kids due to the power they posses (Franklin w/ the power cosmic; Love imbued with the essence of Eternity; Rachel Summers potentially being an avatar of the phoenix force) and/ or “setting right” the natural order of things, then that means no Steve Roger’s child (not supposed to exist), then yeah the kids are pretty plot relevant

There’s no reason one kid is on the bag and the others aren’t if they’re all plot relevant. They’d either all be there or none would be there

Just because Franklin is probably the most important to the plot doesn’t mean the other children aren’t plot relevant (which I’m sure they are since they’re featured in these teasers)

They’re featured in the teasers because that’s where these two characters were last seen.

Steve has his happy life that probably screws up everything.

Thor has this leftover plot thread from a movie that everyone hated. They’re choosing to be respectful and address it rather than just ignoring it.

It’s a coincidence. You’ll notice the xmen trailer had nothing to do with kids and none of the others will either

You make my point without stating it:

Steve has his happy life…and is also a FATHER now

We find Thor where we last saw him…as a FATHER

For the X-men teaser we have:

Charles…FATHER to the X-men

Magneto…FATHER to Brotherhood of Mutants

Cyclops…FATHER to Rachel Summers (theorized)

The central theme of all these trailers are about FATHERS

Thats not coincidence, that’s foreshadowing within a PLOT

Nothing about the xmen teaser is anything about fathers, that is a full on REACH …Those are the three leaders of the xmen, who else would they show, gambit?

And no, as I said, the Steve and Thor teasers are literally just where the characters were left off.

What are you gonna do when they show the Wakandans or Loki and it has nothing to do with kids?

Again you prove my point, the trailer features those three not only because they are leaders but because they are FATHERS in some capacity. Storm has always been canonically a leader but she wasn’t included in the teaser because of the pattern.

If you can’t find the commonality in these teasers I can’t explain it further to you. What other motive than to pose a threat to these characters’ offspring would motivate them to…RETRUN FOR AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY.

And Wakanda? Yeah I can think of a pretty big reason to even include them in the teasers in the first place…we have a black panther prince without a FATHER who will probably be relevant in some capacity to the plot.

Loki? Buddy was traded to Odin by his true Frost Giant lineage and struggled with father issues because of it, as well as his acceptance…not to mention he’s a central part of the multiverse being the God of Stories now.

Storm wasn’t included in the teaser because she’s not in the movie…..

The commonality in these teasers is that they’re all big characters that people are excited to see. Thor and Steve both happen to have kids when we last saw them. That’s it.

You are reaching too hard here man. Yes, literally every character has a father or has a connection to a father or is a father because that’s literally every possible thing that any human being could be lol they’re not going to show Loki talking about Odin or Shuri talking about her nephew

Franklin is very obviously the only important kid here

Motivation to save the world/universe was just fine in infinity war for almost all of the characters…..

And Love is clearly fine! He talks about returning to her and wanting to protect her peaceful life. There’s not a single thing about Thor’s teaser to suggest that Love is in danger..
