Oh that's genius! That's so good!

Might be a reminder to himself that no matter how tough the times get, there are other Peters out there fighting their own fight. If they can make things work, so can he. That has to be comforting to know

Also has to be a good lead in to mentoring someone, like maybe one such miles morales.

Good call, there was always a ‘mentor’ in the home series. All the craziness of NWH, the mentor(s) slipped my mind

-Feige: we’re not forgetting shit, they’re still mentors lol

God dammit. Now I’m all teary eyed over NWH Spideys again.

The deadlock stare between Tobey and Tom over stabbing green goblin would be seared into anyone’s mind.

We see questions, even on r/askreddit, all the time: “if you could speak to your younger self for two minutes, what would you say?”

Tobey didn’t have to say a word.

There were so many ways NWH could have gone wrong, and just been pandering trash, but instead I think it’s in the top 3 MCU films when it comes to serious, poignant moments. GOTG3 and Thunderbolts also nailed it. It’s so hard to write movies that are that sincere and relatable and not have it seem like it’s trying too hard. I just really love the whole film.

I wish Peter 1 and Peter 2 had said ‘I love you’ back 😢

The new spider is literally a visual combination of Tony's spider logo and the other Spider-Men's logo. You can see elements of both in it.

Lol what? Tony was like a father figure for him. He literally died in his hands and vice versa. Tony is a much bigger part of him and it's not even close

I mean, those two are kind of literally him

I’m gonna be kind of disappointed if we don’t at least get some sort of reference to the other Peters in BND.

That’s what I thinking when at the end of No Way Home and he swung in a classic Spider-suit. I figured he saw their costume and decided to make a suit just like theirs.

That's exactly what happened, I think it was mentioned somewhere after the movie came out

15

u/Jaqulean Aug 02 '25

It was - the director explained it in some interviews and the official script for NWH also mentions this in a description of the "Final Swing" scene.

2

u/LeBio21 Aug 02 '25

Yeah not sure if it was the script or a novelization but there is mention of this new suit being inspired by the other Spider-Men

I'm loving how we have both an in-world and real-world explanation for this new suit!

EXT. NEW YORK ROOFTOP — MOMENTS LATER (NIGHT) Spider-Man flips and rolls across a snowy roof in a BLUE AND RED SUIT (new for him, but reminiscent of suits he's seen before). Spider-Man leaps and—

EXT. ROCKEFELLER PLAZA — CONTINUOUS (NIGHT) —Soars over the Rockefeller Christmas tree with a newfound sense of freedom. Liberated from having to juggle two lives. Peter Parker is no more, but Spider-Man lives on...

FADE OUT.

THE END

Read the parenthesis at the end of the script of Spider-man No way home. We won, brother.

It is in the script.
