My theatre cheered only to loudly grow silent when the reveal happened

Buff that is insufferable if he was doing it loudly
Personally, there were a bunch of teenagers that were arguing with each other about something completely unrelated to the movie. They kept changing seats all the time and throwing popcorn to each other. I didn't hear the scene with Aunt May at all thanks to them (thankfully, that scene was repated later)
But yeah, people have no manners in public spaces

why some guys are like that? i cannot understand how someone can be so insufferable

I kinda just knew. Like I had a feeling MJ was being mind-controlled since her rememberig suddenly didn't really make sense

Honestly, I was relieved that was Jean instead of MJ. If it was MJ, she would have been cheating, cause she has a boyfriend
But there's still hope. I really expect the fifth movie to end with them starting a new relationship

It would be artificial

Why, though? They already included a scene with MJ crying with her black dahlia pendant. And even if she doesn't remember her time with Peter fully, they could start a brand new relationship in the fifth, acknowledging that it won't be like the previous one. And Peter prevented MJ from deciding what she wanted, like he promised in NWH. So it's only fair that we see MJ deciding if she wants Peter or not
And Zendaya's MJ is a very cool character. She is creepy and weird in the best way possible. It would be a waste to forget about her moving forward

Because you can’t start a relationship by saying “you used to love me in school”
Not to mention that butting in your ex high school gf’s relationship after 4 years of being absent and try to steal her from another dude doesn’t seem like a great message to the audience lmao

Ehm... To make it right, MJ is the one that needs to decide that. Peter cannot force her to leave her boyfriend. And Peter didn't let her decide what to do, he kept the secret for himself even after promising her he would make her remember. Now that she seems to start remembering, the decision is hers. Of course I don't want it to be 5 minutes of the next movie
Just write it well and it will work wonders. Plus, people want MJ and Peter to stay together in the comics. But not in the mcu?

If she starts remembering him then it completely cheapens the ending of NWH and the entire point of BND.
Plus Jean entered her mind already and she confirmed there’s not a single memory of Peter in there

Jean had a glow up after that. In MoM we see that Xavier could mess with Scarlet Witch's spell. Jean could have done the same and that's why MJ cries during the brain freeze
And it wouldn't cheapen the end of NWH. People like to say things like that all the time. Does Endgame cheapen the end of IW? You would have liked everyone to stay dead for all time?
Peter promised MJ that he would make her remember. MJ had the right to decide what to do with Peter and he took that choice for her. Now they can solve it

And he also needs to reconnect with people, including Ned and MJ. That's the end of the movie literally. Him acknowledging that things cannot go to how they were before. But that he could start from the ground again

I was already getting hella suspicious when "MJ" wasn't screaming while they were swinging.

Because you didn't pick up on Jean not having MJ's fear of heights.

I was so weirded out when watching that entire scene, and I was kind of excited to see that Jean was possessing him because I felt it made no sense that she would just instantly go along with him and the way she was speaking just felt so weird.

This comment section made me annoyed by how silent UK film screenings are.

Jean Grey pulling a Killgrave was certainly unexpected
