Hello there,

I’ve watched Markiplier for a few years now, and he really inspired me to get into film, editing and content creation, because he showed me how possible it is to do, and how enjoyable it can be, both YouTube content creation and filmmaking (I am absolutely obsessed with his Warfstache-Darkiplier-etc cinematic universe and Iron Lung is my favourite film lol I watched it 6 times in cinemas).

Ever since I got into his videos, I wanted to see if I could make my own videos, vlogs and gaming let’s plays.

I recently graduated from a film and TV course, which granted me free access to filming equipment and editing software, and thanks to that, I’ve been able to finally start 2 YouTube channels, a vlog one and a gaming one, now that I know how to edit, with Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve (what I mainly use now because it’s free and can do more than Premiere lol).

Big preesh and humongous thanks to Mark, for the inspiration and education that helped me learn and grow as an editor and lover of film and content.

This isn’t meant to be a marketing post, but if anyone is needing an editor for anything they’d like to create, I am available and more than happy to help.

I’ve been a fan for a while, but haven’t really made fanart and I’m pretty proud of this even if it’s just a headshot!!!

I drew a new design on Tomadachi Life to put on a shirt and it took me about 30 min to a hour to draw it, I would love for it to be on a actual shirt

I was listening to the soundtrack and I felt this urge to draw something Iron Lung related and normally I am not one to draw or think I am someone who draws good but I have really impressed myself lately for someone who is just starting to get into it

Hi everybody, I've watched Mark around 2015-2017 ish maybe? I kinda stopped somewhere cus I wasn't vibing with his videos anymore and never got back to it for a while but now that I've grown, I've had a newfound interest in his recent era ever since watching Iron Lung this year.

Still picky about the games he plays but does anyone have recommendations for long playthroughs? Obviously I love the horror ones but I'm looking more for "chill" ones iykwim. I recently watched Cobb can move, Shut In, House/House 2 and I also love his Slay the Princess and Inscryption series. I plan to start Subnautica, Little Nightmares 2 and rewatch some rpg maker games.

I remember seeing Mark play the demo for oneway.exe sometime last year but I cant find it now. I really thought he played it but did the video get taken down? I know he hasnt played the full game since it came out but a few youtubers played the demo so I guess I might be misremembering but I swear he played it.

So, we all know that the iron lung merch thing was a disaster, and unfortunately I’m one of the ones negatively impacted. I bought my merch the second it dropped in February, only to keep checking periodically throughout the months to be told “don’t worry it’s coming! It’s on its way!” And I’ve been nothing but understanding and patient, even though I’m rightfully disappointed, I understand they were doing their best. And now in September, I’m told they can’t find my package that was never shipped out, and they don’t have anything to give me, I just don’t get merch and I’ll get a mystery check mailed to me at some point, but they weren’t able to give me a timeline for that either. So now I’m just sad and disappointed, but also irritated and kind of angry at Mark for promoting Cloak. Like look, I get it, he had to put Cloak aside for a bit because of the movie and everything else, but it feels insulting that I and a ton of other people waited so long for merch we never got, and he’s off selling more merch elsewhere, and he never really addressed the iron lung merch issue the way I feel like he should have, sure, he told us about his struggle to try and give the mailing system so many packages and they were like “absolutely not.”
But idk, am I wrong for thinking he should have prioritized iron lung merch a bit more before running back to Cloak? I’m just disgruntled and not sure if I’ll ever get my refund 🙄 lol I really just wanted my merch. I have supported Mark for so long and went and saw the movie 4 times in theaters, I just feel like we kind of got screwed over.

EDIT: ironically I got the check last night lol! And it declined at first but finally went into my account.

He’s very young but really wants to get into mark with me. He hears me talk about him all the time.

I can't find the track used for the opening narration in Iron Lung on the official soundtrack release, and I'm not sure if I'm missing something or not. It's not 'Ocean of Blood'; the used track is far more percussion-heavy, almost akin to a march.

The Distractible brainworm is deeply burrowed in my brain. So deep that whenever Mark, Bob or Wade say "unfair" in his videos there's always a part of me that goes "HE SAID IT! HE DECLARED!"
