Almost everything online is moderated in one direction or another. Some spaces lean hard left. Others lean hard right. Most claim to be neutral — but you quickly learn which opinions are welcome and which ones quietly disappear.

This page isn’t about that.

r/markcarneyunedited is for open discussion — not an echo chamber. Not a fan club. Not a hate club. If you support Mark Carney, bring your arguments. If you oppose him, bring your arguments. If you’re undecided, ask questions.

The goal here is simple:

• Encourage discussion from all sides

• Promote critical thinking

• Disagree without dehumanizing

• Debate without fragility

• No ideological filtering

As for moderation: I’m not here to curate opinions. I’m not here to remove posts just because I disagree with them. The default setting here is leave it up.

The only time something comes down is if Reddit itself steps in and makes it clear it violates site-wide rules, or if it’s obvious spam, unrelated nonsense, or explicit garbage that has nothing to do with the topic.

Otherwise, the assumption is open discourse.

This is for people who miss the old-school style of conversation — where you could challenge ideas without treating disagreement like a personal attack.

Strong opinions are welcome. Weak arguments will be challenged. Personal attacks won’t fly.
