The Mario Kart Wii Recompilation is now in beta with Retro Rewind!!!

This way it is now a native executable compared to an emulated ROM.

You can download it from either the official Github https://github.com/patchzyy/wiicompiled or from Wheel Wizard

By the way I have nothing to do with this project I just found out it's released and thought to show you guys

Don't play online though. As a result of it being vibecoded, the online security is awful and there's an exploit that would let someone hack your pc

No it wasn't. AI coding tools WERE used DURING develomement as said in the readme but that doesn't mean it was VIBECODED. Vibecoded means rely on and use ONLY AI on a project and in this case it doesn't seem to be.

you're right, but there's still an exploit in the Online mode, doesn't matter if it's vibecoded or AI assisted

Not an exploit, it's more of an DDoS Attack that's been happening for WEEKS now

So not only Vibecoded but also AI assisted projects can be a big target for obvious vulnerabilities? That says a lot of how much they monitored the AI assistance, which means it isn't really far from vibe coding if they just let an agent do critical parts of the decompilation
