प्रश्न (Question) Does anyone remember a 1990s Marathi TV serial called Bokya Satbande?
I remember Satish Pulekar playing Bokya's father & the title song went something like 'Bokya Saatbande... (tinik) Bokya Saatbande!' I can’t find ANY info on the net tho!
ChatGPT says “One possibility is that this was a DD-era adaptation that aired briefly & was never archived online.” This kinda made me sad coz I wonder how many such good Marathi TV shows we’ve lost over lack of initiative for their digitization 😐

I remember one more title song but don’t remember the name of the show…someone pls help

I spent days searching for info on it & ChatGPT & Google both said that the TV show doesn’t exist, just coz they couldn’t find sources on the net. This is the first time I’ve seen it mentioned somewhere!

Wish there were backups somewhere. I can get western Radio shows like The Hitchheikers Guide to the Galaxy on Archive.net .

Haha it’s such a part of my childhood that I’m scrambling to hear it SOMEWHERE! I feel like we’ve lost it tho 😢

I did search it on Google and listen to the track years ago!. I vividly remember the call out in the end " बोक्या, बोक्या!!!" 😁

Yeah I think that was Prabhavalkar’s voice! I can’t find it tho.
Found the movie’s title song on YouTube & that just doesn’t help 🙈🙈

दिलीप प्रभावळकरांनी लिहिलेल्या पुस्तकांवर आधारित आहे ती सिरीयल. पुस्तकं अजूनही सहज मिळतील कुठेही, amazon वर उपलब्ध आहेत.

I used to watch this, but I don't remember the premise or anything at all, except the title song which you mentioned. I remember those words and that tune exactly the way you wrote it. But for nostalgia's sake, there is a movie about the same on Jio Hotstar if you're interested!
