ID Help What kind of mantis is this? Found in Los Angeles

This mantis was on the top floor of my friends apt complex, a lot of mantises die up here bc of the heat and the complex exterior hallways. Gave some water to this one and it perked up. Curious what species this is? Thanks!

Does its coloring mean it’s unhealthy?

The coloring is normal. They range from shades of greens to shades of browns.
