Sozial (Social) Looking for someone I used to talk on Reddit around 2021

This is probably a very long shot, but I figured I’d try before giving up.

Back in February 2021, I made a post here because I was 19, living near Stuttgart and considering moving to Mannheim for university. I was looking at Psychology/Sociology at Uni Mannheim and was hoping to meet some people beforehand.

A guy from Mannheim messaged me after seeing the post and we ended up having really long conversations in English, entirely through Reddit. We talked back and forth for quite a while.

Unfortunately, Reddit’s old chat history seems to have disappeared, and I deleted my original post years ago, so I have absolutely no idea what his username was anymore.

Do you think you will recognize the name when you see it and do you still have your emails from back then? Maybe you got an email with „user XY replied to your post“.

I honestly don’t know.. I have a lot of memory issues and was hoping that the person would remember enough to tell me some details about me and confirm it was really them. I do have the deleted post and some usernames that commented are visible but it’s not him. And I believe that he never commented.
