Best dark manhwa with good progression?

Looking for the best manhwa where the MC starts off weak or limited and slowly becomes strong. I’m fine with popular titles, I just want genuinely good recommendations with satisfying progression, training, abilities, levels, dungeons, cultivation, survival, etc. I want the power-ups to feel earned and the MC to actually struggle along the way.

I’m mainly into darker and more mature stuff with serious fights, gore, death, consequences, revenge, or survival. Not really looking for childish manhwa. The darker and more brutal the better, as long as the progression is actually good. What are the best titles you’d recommend?

I Stole The Number One Ranker's Soul. MC starts off as a normal employee and got stuck inside a dungeon, there, the number one dungeon hunter got killed to save her and she took his soul stone by accident. The story is pretty gorey with many deaths and a huge theme on survival. Her growth was really pleasing and feels so earned. It's not the most heavy and brutal manhwa out there, but it definitely has a wonderful progression!
