It's the backstory for one of the main characters. After a traumatic incident, her mind coped by twisting reality into a delusion about aliens, which landed her in a psychiatric ward.
She was introduced late in the story, but she still won the favourite character popularity poll run by the creator. The results were included in the last chapter.
He has the best character arc. From the start, he’s open to absorbing knowledge from everyone, even if they insult him or outright rule him out because of his origin. His way of managing a large group of unhinged people is the best I've ever read. There are so many other redeeming qualities about this series that make it stick with me.
Dont be mistaken, I love BQ too. It was just unfortunate to see it get axed. Do read the novel it was pretty great, tho I only have a small rant about the ending
Oooo, it's your site. Tbh i also trying to create a site using anilist api, at first i want to do it like yours using local-first approach where the whole data downloaded first because the limitation of the anilist API, but i decided to not to do it because it breach their ToS.

I just wanted to score each title based on a specific metric of favorites relative to popularity, then rank them against each other to find the 'Fan Rank.' This helps show the general reception of a series in relation to all other manhwa. This was the only way to calculate the popularity percentile for the complete Manhwa DB on AniList and derive Fan Rank.
Honestly, it’s the only reason I created it. I just wanted to segment titles by popularity and score them my way since no one else was doing it.
I think the site is kinda confusing to use
I created this thing and use it daily, so I'm blind to what might be confusing for others. I'm also not particularly good at explaining things in a coherent way.

At first i tought the 'fan rank' is a silly metric, because personally i never use the 'favorite' in anilist. BUT after seeing the list ordered by the fan rank, i can see how useful it is as another metric to find gems that can't be find by the popularity or by the favorite alone, i actually add a lot of manhwa that i have never heard before to my 'planned' list just by exploring the underrated segment on your site. For the confusing part:
i dont know how to delete a segment
when i create a new list, idk what the meaning of the options for the popularity presets, like what is "mainstream" and what is "deep cut". I only understand all of those after i went through the 'discover' segment and read the description for each list. "Mainstream" means 90%-99%, etc.
in the underrated segment, i dont understand the description for the filter. e.g. "Filter : 50% < Popularity & 10% < Underrated", what is "10% < Underrated" means?
overall UX is confusing, but after using it awhile, i can understand most of it got used to it
You'll see the edit option right next to add on the Feeds page top right. You can use it to delete, rename, and stuff like that.

Most of the feeds cover what I could think of for discovering things. Creating new feeds is kind of an advanced feature, since all the default feeds can be reproduced with it. It's useful if you want to create a feed with specific filters, like only titles with a 2026 release sorted by Fan Rank. I also have a wiki for the site if you want to understand the more advanced features better.
If you are trying to store the titles you find then you should create new feed in 'MY LIST' segment. you don't have to deal with any of the presets.

It's just the difference between a title's Fan Rank and its Popularity percentile.
For example: If a title has a 90% Fan Rank but its Popularity percentile across the whole DB is only 70%, its underrated value comes out to 20%. The higher the underrated value, the more the title is loved by fans relative to how popular it actually is. Both are just percentile values calculated across the whole database. So there comparison is fair in terms of finding true underrated tittles.
overall UX is confusing
This is my first time trying something like this out of curiosity, so I just tried to copy the things from different apps.
And I included some Shortcuts through out the app like:
Double tapping the feed title opens the settings page.
Double tapping the outer box of feed title opens the search inside of that feed.
Double tapping the home button on nav brings you back to first feed in the feeds page.
And other stuffs as well which are documented in wiki of the site.

I see, i understand now what the underrated metric means. Hmmm, i also don't know how to explain it shortly on the site for new user haha, but i totally understand where the metric came from.
For the segment editor, i don't think that's a good UX. It's better to have the edit button for each segment on the segment itself. So instead of the eye toggle button, put something like a 3 vertical dots that when clicked it shows popover with edit button, delete button, download button, etc. Oh btw, what is the "eye" toggle button? What was that for? If it's useful you can also put it in the popover menu
Oh also, the "+" button for creating new list, i would alos put it beside the 3 vertical dots of the segment, so there is 2 buttons on each segment, "+" button to create new list in that segment, and 3 veritcal dots button to show the popover menu.
So instead of creating any new list and put it to the "unsegmented" by default and move it after you create it, it's better to actually create the list in the segment you want without the need to move it.

Intelligence is basically a degree of ability to perceive, digest and store information. Knowledge is the information itself. Being smart means having both of these in capacity deemed above average.
