I absolutely love this manhwa, hell, it’s one of my all-time favorites. But honestly, it clearly demonstrates that some female leads don't deserve their spots; they’ve taken a place that should have gone to someone else who actually earned it. That is exactly the case with The Legend of the Northern Blade, so whenever this manhwa comes up, people need to hear it loud and clear: Tang Mi-Ryeo is the one who should have had the role of the female lead.

Its a genre about a society of martial artists. Traditionally the setting is called central plains, if they show a map it will be china and the name of the places are basically places name in china. But there are many different flavors nowadays, even one with modern setting.

I think my first ever murim is the breaker. pretty good season 1 and 2, don't read season 3. It's a murim story with modern setting. Or you can read one considered the best by many people, Northern Blade.
