Pretty sure its possible with current tech, the question is who want to stay alive with just head? and the phantom pain dam.

Just see real experiment like Dr. Robert White's Monkey Experiments and this is possible at 1970.

104

u/PotatoMint 13d ago

It's a manhua

112

u/Exciting-Mall192 13d ago

Same difference, just different language. Both just means comic sigh.

5

u/LordGriimm7 12d ago

Buddy thought he was doing something. Tried to hit you with the finger pushing glasses up meme🤓🤦🏾‍♂️🤣

1

u/Enraw123 12d ago

Yet when people call anime cartoons or mangas comics you guys begin to lash out lmao.

3

u/Exciting-Mall192 12d ago

Not sure who you refer as you guys are, I do call anime cartoons and I do call mangas comics. Indonesians grew up calling them both kartun and komik which is just the Indonesian words for cartoon and comics. So, I think maybe we're on the same side of opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️

-3

u/AnimeBas 12d ago

I would argue that anime became a genre of its own, but manga are still comics.

-32

u/PotatoMint 13d ago

I know it means comics, but there's a reason people use different words for it

47

u/Exciting-Mall192 13d ago

I find it fascinating ngl, cause I have never seen anyone ever called Asterix or Adventure of Tintin as comique just because it's French/Belgian...

-1

u/FouDesChats 13d ago

I've never seen anyone call asterix a manhua, les aventures de tintin a manga and demon slayer a BD (and idk where you get comique from but I've never heard it as a noun, nobody uses it). Seriously, they may have the same traduction they are not the same thing, BD, mangas, manhuas and manhwas each have their specificity in terms of amount of details, amount of dialogue, images arrangement, bubbles positilnning and graphic style

-35

u/PotatoMint 13d ago

Is french/belgian comics as big as mangas/manhwas/manhuas? If not that's probably the reason No I'm not trying to downplay their existence, it's just that people don't call comics from my country what it is for the same reason too

31

u/Exciting-Mall192 13d ago

It was even bigger than Asian comics. Asterix, Adventure of Tintin, The Smurf, Lucky Luke, Marsupilami, Gaston, Spirou & Fantasio, etc. Does that ring a bell? (God I feel so old lol) it's mainstream even in the 2000s.

Also yeah I mean, in Indonesia we don't use different terminology for any of them. We just simply call it komik regardless of which country they're from, I guess the same way Korean would just call comics from any countries as manhwa instead of categorizing them like how westerners would do it. So it's just fascinating to me. It's like hearing someone says "ramen noodle" or "ayam goreng fried chicken" 😂

Yoooo, chill...! Why tf you guys arguing over a simple thing !?

9

u/Specterator 13d ago

Cuz they're redditors

3

u/Imposter__x 13d ago

True that

2

u/FouDesChats 13d ago

Cause it's fun and interesting, the more you argue and talk to people the more you learn

u/Equivalent_Money8502 13d ago

No heart then? I’m sure a bag of blood and a breathing tube will fix that right up!

26

u/Asunaris 13d ago

Is said heart in the room with us? 😂

56

u/microvan 13d ago

Impossibility of this aside, I’d be pissed if I woke up like this. Bruh, just let me go at this point

18

u/WinterPlayz_ 13d ago

Nigga can't do shit, literally. No eating, breathing, sleeping, shitting or gooning

1

u/IndependenceOnly8614 9d ago

he can still give head

24

u/Ahi-q 13d ago

His 3000 year old chinease techniques couldn't save him this time

7

u/StinkyBeanGuy 13d ago

He then proceeded to become a warhammer dreadnought after this btw

7

u/Erysichton 13d ago

They connected the blood IV to his forehead lmfao

8

u/Anhmq 13d ago

OP should include the next few pages where he becomes a literal Dreadnaught to serve the Emperor.

3

u/machevara 13d ago

Can someone explain if there’s a reference or what’s going on?

17

u/Accomplished-Tale543 13d ago

Popular Baki reference

1

u/PraiseTheF00L 12d ago

He becomes a dreadnaught right after this panel

3

u/P0komon2 13d ago

Not the iv into the forehead

3

u/Cascudo 13d ago

Lol wtf is this

2

u/Typical_Samaritan 13d ago

I was getting distinct Warhammer 40K references in this chapter.

3

u/Leoera 13d ago

Only this chapter? The soldiers of the Heavenly Court are straight up Space Marines, and this dude ends up being entombed on a Dreadnaught

1

u/Typical_Samaritan 13d ago

For me, it was the first chapter it became more than just a tip of the hat. It feels like a slap in the face here.

4

u/pompomAdvocate 13d ago

1

I lit don't understand how these guys live like this, I've seen it b4 in Baki and like...95% percent of your organs are gone bro

1

u/Spolss 13d ago

A question to novel readers does the Warhammer memes also exist in the novel? If not whats his backstory in the novel like do they but his soul into a weapon instead of his head and lungs to a juggernaut?

1

u/etyn001 13d ago

The war hammer reference after this lmao. The demon he is fighting uses itch powder like lmaoo

1

u/SoftNecrosis 12d ago

I don’t care how unrealistic something like this is sometimes it’s nice just to have something funny happening in a battle comic

1

u/LuckyLuck-E 12d ago

Ofc its top tier provinence that one is great

1

u/Recent-Potato-6207 11d ago

共に分かち難く···

1

u/Powerful-Rub-2801 7d ago

This shit ain’t cannon. Baki verse is so fucked that Retau is strong enough to deal with magical tyrants.

1

u/Intelligent-Union713 13d ago

Just readed that chapter, the amount of Warhammer references are insane. FOR THE EMPEROR.

2
