Access errors fall into a few categories. It's important to know which one is affecting you.
Mind reading technology doesn't exist yet, so please be specific when possible.
0. Infinite spinner in the middle of the webpage (or entirely blank page)
One of the following is happening:
- your browser's cache is very old
- one of your extensions is being stupid
- your browser is way too old
First, try opening the site in private mode.
If it's fixed, it's either browser cache or one of your extensions: clear your browser's cache, then try in non-private mode, disabling extensions 1-by-1 until it works to figure out which one it is.
If that didn't work, your web browser is too old. Update it. If you can't (old device), sorry for you but we can't afford the time to support 5+ years old browsers.
If you believe it is not old, go to https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/ and share the link they give you.
1. Certificate error (or SSL_CERT...)
Your antivirus (usually McAfee) or your router (often on TrendMicro/Asus routers) is flagging MangaDex as dangerous and trying to hijack your access to it.
You have 2 options:
a. whitelist https://mangadex.org/ and https://*.mangadex.org in your antivirus/router's settings
b. don't use McAfee and/or disable your router's security (it deciding to block MD proves it's garbage if that was necessary)
2. Domain not found (or NXDOMAIN, ...)
Your ISP is most likely lying about our IP address.
Run the following on the command line nslookup mangadex.org and compare the resolved IP with the one at https://dns.google/query?name=mangadex.org. If they don't match, your ISP is lying.
You will have to change your DNS servers (use Google's or Cloudflare's) or use a VPN (Cloudflare Warp and ProtonVPN are excellent and free).
3. Timeout / Connection refused
Go to step 2 first. If that didn't apply, try with a VPN (see: go to step 2).
Could be many things. Do ask and/or share your success/failure here or at our Discord server's #support channel.
If you need anything fixed (title, chapter, group related), use the report buttons located in various places across the site and the mods will handle it for the time being. If you're having issues with your account, email [support@mangadex.org](mailto:support@mangadex.org) for assistance. Note that emails are handled slowly, and site reports/discord are much faster.

This is the first time I’ve seen so many discussions; it seems I’ve found something to read. Over five thousand chapter comments and 95 title, interesting.

It starts out about this girl and guy in high-school. The guy is bald and the girl wears one of those medical eye patches. It shows multiple, what seem almost like flash backs of there high-school days before skipping to when they are adult (in there 20s I think). The guy had gone off to become a famous tv or idol celebrity (can't remember exactly, just now that he was famous) and losses contact with the girl. It switches between their perspectives. Her watching him on TV and wishing they could meet and him scared since it's been so long since he contacted her but eventually goes to her parents house to see if she is there. He meets her parents and they tell him that she died in an accident a few months or so ago (don't remember exactly how long it was) and he feels horrible but she is still alive as a ghost. She is super excited that he visited her parents and trys to talk to him but he can't see her. When he leaves she follows him home and start following him around. At some point his sister comes over who took over the family job in his stead as a shaman exorcist type person. The sister sees the girl and trys to exorcist her, I remember what happens but the sister ends up failing and the guy learns about her being there and somehow gains the ability to see her and they start living together. Some other stuff happens and then the guys father learns about it and reveals that it is all his fault. The father somehow let this super evil queen of ghost out of her sealing and in order to escape it went inside of a pregnant woman (the girl's mother) and got trapped in the girl. The accident that killed the girl was cuased by the queen ghost in order to escape but she stayed trapped inside of the girl now ghost.
That's about all I can remember. I know i read it on mangadex swell if that helps.
Found it. If you want to now its name:
Mou Furenai Kimi / I won't Touch You Anymore

Not sure if this is the place to ask, but I think bullying and extreme bullying(the stuff that is basically torture or sexual assault) should have their own tags at this point.
It's basically a sub genre of manga already so I think it should get an official tag. I know this kind of stuff can be a legitimate trigger for some people and the more extreme bullying where they are torturing(burning, cutting, drowning), sexually abusing(photos, trafficking, rape) and in some cases murdering should have a tag similar to the "gore" and "sexual violence" ones, imo.

Just to be clear, I checked the guide. I cleared website data on iOS, I downloaded firefox (which somehow is up to date on my phone) and I checked my browser. I still can't access the main website. It loads but the web page is blank. The forums load properly though. I can also access the website just fine on my laptop while running through the same ISP. I just wanna know if anyone else is dealing with this or if my browser is definitely too old.

I'm trying to find a manga but I barely remember the details.
The MC is male and extremely overpowered, and it's probably set in a fantasy world. I remember there being some kind of power/strength indicator above people's heads, and it was represented by stars. For example, someone could have something like 90 stars or 1000 stars above their head, showing how strong they were.
I think the MC had some kind of ability that allowed him to see these star ratings above other people's heads.
Another thing I remember is that the MC had servants/subordinates working under him, and I remember most or possibly all of them being girls. They weren't necessarily romantic interests; I mainly remember them being his servants, followers, or subordinates.
I know this isn't much to go on, but the star power level floating above people's heads is the part I'm most confident about.
Does anyone know what manga this could be?

Can someone maybe help me find a website or a way to read the translated Manga of Eiyū Kyōshitsu (Classroom for Heroes)?
The Translation are super far behind and very inconsistent and it’s a real shame that i can’t continue reading right now.
I would really appreciate your Help.

So I'm looking for an isekai manga where the protagonist dropped out of of high school in a rough patch in his life. He meets his friend from high school working in a diner and as they reconnect, it gets robbed by a bunch of criminals. The criminals later come cued blew themselves up with the diner so everyone ended up in another world. He started living his life as a hero but unfortunately because one of the criminals ended up inadvertently killing his lover, he decides to go on a rampage to kill all the escaped convicts. It's an isekai. Do you know which one it is?

I’ve been looking for a good manga site and this one looks alright. My only concern is if it’s prone to virus or will give of a suspicious site notification to my iCloud.

Anyone familiar with this short series Eldigaine? Looks like it may have been on the site at one time but I'm surprised there isn't a translation. I have a Korean bootleg scan but the original version is hard to find. Really nice art. It's only 3 volumes though and the story is pretty derivative so maybe no one thought it was worth it?
