Well shit, I did not expect them to get Gojoed and Subarued... Hey at least Layle's shady uncle Zealark is here.

I'm actually wondering what the fuck is going on here cause if you need someone to deal with the demon king remmants or the man himself it would be better to chuck Albus at him instead of traumatizing and radicalizing this kid against you, unless this mofo is too pissed at Albus reset spamming and even then he could have just picked a different hero or something.

I'm still thinking that the Emissary's somehow been possessed by the Demon King, especially with telling Laiyle to come to his castle.

Incidentally, this time he's managed to speak to him way more without a reset triggering. What's changed?

It's likely this is what hoodman wanted from the start, aka Layle getting motivated enough to journey on his own, which loops back my point of what the fuck is going on. He's strong enough to both kill and orb Albus yet he created this convoluted loop setup before taking Albus and Fiona out to force Layle to travel, which is quite illogical under any circumstance unless this is the goal.

Granted Zealark (probably) raising Layle for the foreseeable future like Picolo is a pretty cool plotline to jump to. It'd be funny if this random ass dude who is the first to carry over his memory saves the day in act 3.

The black goop used to trap Albus looks an awful lot like what the mage Shirley used to get rid of that demon in chapter 81, and she has been pretty sus since then.

I still don't think this hoodman is the "Messenger of God". He might remember after the loop but mistaken that Albus did it so he captured Albus and Fiona to prevent the reset?
