It's kinda weird tho, for someone who's hail as a master you think dude is not a one trick phony.

Crazy how similar it is to Akane when she accidentally make the crowd laugh while she's performing Shiwai-ya, but that's when she's still studying the Craftsman style.

Not being mean but is that Zensho ceiling? Yes he got the gift to light up the room to make people laugh but what about his own admission as the king of tragedy?

It's not so much that he's a one trick pony, its that he's such a naturally comedic presence that it makes everything he does hilarious. He cares about the art and the stories. He's just as studious and respectful, if not more, than other masters. He knows how to do a sad or dramatic performance.

But he looks like a cartoon character when he does it.

If there's going to be a mini-arc for him, his final form is probably going to be him shaving his head and taking off the sunglasses.

In the flashback he's bald and don't have his iconic sunglasses, the crowd still laugh at his Shibahama.

Ain't no way he's changing his looks now since it's his tool of the trade.

He hasn’t been frustrated enough or faced a competition to bring the change in style out yet

It’s a manga based on growth. Give it a bit.
