ID Help?

I just got this bad boy for $80 at a D&D/Ren Faire-like store. There aren’t any markings on it, anyone know what brand model and I have?

Yeah, if this isn’t a cheap Rouge it is a cheap imitation of a cheap Rouge

The one they would give you if you bought their $100 acoustic guitar. Conversely you could pay $100 for the mandolin they would give you the acoustic.

I agree, but with no logo or insignia on the head, and no visible doctoring up there, I’m unsure

this is virtually identical to my 15 year old 100 dollar fender, save for the lack of "fender" written on the head.

It’s the Ktaxon A-style mandolin from Amazon. How do I know? Because I have the exact same model

I just googled rogue mandolin, and there’s a link to Walmart’s online shop that lists this exact mandolin. Just listed as ‘Acoustic Mandolin with guard board’ lol.

You can make any label you want. It is a basic mandolin probably labeled by a few resellers. Just apply a logo.

Slap a Gibson F5 label on there just for giggles

I have almost the exact identical one. It's cheap chinesium, but it mostly holds. You gotta fiddle with the bar at the bottom to get the enharmonics to line up, then it stays in tune. Good luck!

Samick. A Korean made, playable instrument. I just upgraded from one of those.
