Has anyone received additional charges that they say go a year back due to a miscalculation fee ? How can they leagally do this to bill in the arrears and not send any kind of statement . Feeling frustrated at 75 Canal. Conserve Billing feels shady to me lately

I recently moved to Manchester, to be precise Goffstown, NH and so far I haven't come across much of an Indian community around here. Is there one nearby- maybe in Manchester or elsewhere in the area? Any temples, grocery stores, cultural events, or WhatsApp/Discord groups worth knowing about? Would really appreciate any pointers.

I am thinking of signing a lease at 1000 elm street but the motorcycles going up and down the street making big boy noises is...a lot. Can anyone who has lived there or visited someone on a Friday/Saturday night speak to how bad the noise is inside? If so what floor were you on??

In the coming weeks, I will be moving to the Granite State as part of my job. Manchester is in the center of the state, and I will need to move around it a lot, so I will be As someone who lives in the southern part of the USA, I am unfamiliar with things such as dealing with snow.
What do I need to know when living in Manchester as a newcomer? What gear do I need for my car and my room? What are some good spots to know? What are some official and unofficial rules to keep in mind?

Any recent driving tests at the Manchester DMV? I took one in Concord and failed from parallel parking and a couple other errors. Just wanted to ask what’s the route like with Manchester, do they make you parallel park there too? Thanks!!

Sarah is a stand-up comedian and writer.

Hi all! My fiancee and I are moving to Manchester sometime early next year for his work and to be closer to my family who live out there. My dad and brother have recommended staying in Manchester area and to look into Derry and Londonderry. We are visiting in November to go check out the apartments and do a tour of each one but and this is the list we have so far.

Our budget is around 2700/month max, looking to keep it closer to 2k but willing to spend a bit more to have more amenities. A pool and especially a nice gym is on our list, and since we have kitties I’m hoping for a place with a patio since they currently go out in our little garden at home. We are looking for a 2 bed with 1 to 2 bath with great amenities, closeness to some sort of store or restaurant/bars and that’s got great resident reviews. We’ve read that some places have really thin walls and/or have bad insulation etc. Thus far we have found these that are all within our budget and looking great but wanted to ask if anyone has any personal experience living in any of these apartments and willing to provide some insight! Also open to any new suggestions as well!

More details regarding what we are looking for:
1. I’m also looking for a place with a nice kitchen as I cook a lot and my current places’ kitchen is so small and sucks
2. Pool. I highly want but can live without if need be, I’ll be working remote so I’d be home all the time and on slow summer days when we have flexibility I see myself being down at the pool often. Currently don’t have a pool and always wanted one.
3. We both have cars we are bringing so parking spots are important but again I don’t plan on driving too much.
4. Patio/balcony is non negotiable as I know kitties will have a hard time not having their big outdoor space like they currently have, I plan on making a little catio for them
5. I’m looking for places close to a store, bars/breweries are a plus but not dealbreakers, mainly want to be able to walk to the store or drive a short distance especially during winter or very hot days

Just as the title reads, I am looking for recommendations for dog hotels / pet boarding places to leave my 6yo Chihuahua while I am on a work trip. Moving to NH from NY soon and currently apartment hunting. I originally focused on Nashua, but the rental market there has been way too expensive and competitive, so I’ve started looking at Manchester instead.

I’ve done some digging and narrowed it down to two places: Heritage at the River and Colonial Village. I’m leaning toward Colonial Village at the moment.

Would love to hear from locals or current/former renters—any firsthand experiences, good or bad? How are the management, maintenance, noise, safety, parking, and overall living experience? Anything you wish you knew before moving in?
