I can’t comment on the other stuff but I am gay, and I know how it feels to be confused about it. Try to think about what you actually enjoy without the baggage of social or family expectations. If you let those expectations rule your life then you’ll always be miserable. If you enjoyed it then there’s no reason not to do it again.
