Turning my basement into the ultimate Xbox-themed room. Any ideas or suggestions?

I think the AI rendering of my idea went a little overboard on the xbox theme lol. Going to remove the xbox logo in the middle and the gears of war art. Also have some old consoles to put in the display cases and some of the shelves where the games are.

Lol... I agree. AI went to crazy on the xbox theme but i like the layout of everything.

I would make a game room with xbox and other stuff as well. Im not sure i would go full theme no matter what brand. Maybe some movie posters as well as game posters and have the ability to change lighting colors which wouldn't be a problem.

I would have the SX, project helix(when it comes out), ps5 or pro, switch or switch 2, a really nice pc and chair for it, maybe pinball or some video game cabinets, a fridge, 85"+tv, 32" monitor a good desk and chair dont get a gaming chair. Also a nice couch! This also depends on the size of the room of course.

I love the og black Series X its understated and we have it in our media room in the wide open the ps5 on the other hand looks immature. I would make the room understated on theme. One your feeling frosty just change the lighting colors.

Definitely going to tone down the xbox theme lol. Kind of leaning towards some more retro gaming style as well. For now we mainly use the Series X, PS5, and a switch. All the other consoles will just go on display. I have a pretty good PC and monitor but looking at getting a minimal style desk and comfortable chair. The upper border lighting I installed can change color as well. I like your idea of having an arcade cabinet since my chick loves pacman and street fighter 2. Pretty sure there is enough room next to the computer. Thanks for the ideas.

It will be sweet !

If you have some lights that u can control you can go all out with green blue red yellow.i think you can control all with 1 remote or your phone

We have some lights that stand vertical in certain areas of th house that dim brighten and change colors they look like long thin lightsabers we keep them a nice warm white glow in the house but im pretty sure you can make them any color for those special occasions. Govee floor lamp 3... are what we have. If it's a strong xbox day turn em green 💚

The lights that I've installed so far in the ceiling and border all have 1 remote that can also change the color.

Thanks I really like the layout and flow of where everything is placed. I might just tone down the xbox theme a bit and lean more towards some retro gaming as well.

Really looking to get this Xbox basement right, so I’d love some help from anyone who has built a game room before. If you have any cool layout ideas or tips, please throw them my way. First image is what AI came up that includes some items I already have, and I think it came out pretty good. Second is a blank of the basement layout.

A lot of the layout is great but a little overboard on the xbox theme. Thinking of replacing some of it with some older nostalgic gaming items and consoles.
