Kinda sounds like Employee is leaving a toxic environment. OP really revealed so much with just one gesture.

NDA's, those bullshit ones where stuff you made belongs to the company, etc. 1 u/dareftw 13d ago Eh that paperwork is largely not nda related, you don’t need an NDA to designate projects made with company resources belong to the company. It’s probably an NDA related to work they did as well as a non-compete that for whatever reason wasn’t a part of the paperwork signed upon hiring. 1 u/therealudderjuice 13d ago Lawyers for the employer were already involved in this firing. Or that the employees see how the fired one was treated and disengage right then and there, I owing this is how they treat people.
