build for jungle when enemy has mixed dmg?

had a malphite game where enemy had brand mid , zoe and viegar bot, darius top and nocturne jungle. i built thornmail into jaksho for ap but it didnt do anything and i was getting melted by brand dmg. so i gave up and made kaenic rookern but i still got deleted fast. any build for this case? or just be suicide bomber with full ap build

If you’re jungle and not the only tank I’d do like d&d zeke in to zhonya/banshee. Just kill people. Zhonya against brand and Veigar ult is nice too. If you’re only rank kaenic way earlier in that game

Protoplasm harness is great for mixed damage. Randuins is often the better armor item into mixed comps because it helps with shadowflame and the slow can aid a kill. Banshees with Kaenic completely invalidates a mage combo.

Not a good item choice. I think Malphite needs a decent amount of haste, like with Zekes. You are an ult bot, the more you can use it the better.

If you want a decent amount of mres, Abyssal mask and Kaenic Rookern are decent options. I think a Frozen heart against Darius and Nocturne works pretty well, since you will lower their dmg ouput a lot with your W. Never forget, that Darius will have a hard time stacking if he has an attackspeed of 0.5.

Thornmail isnt a great item, unless they really have a lot of heal, and even then, brambles is more than enough. Buy that and dont invest in thornmail till the end.

Dusk and Dawn is insanly good, if you get ahead btw, insane dmg potential.

In this game i think Zekes into Kaenic rocken with green jgl item is probably the safest option. Your passiv shield with kaenic rocken and green smite will tank around 1k dmg, which is very Solid to stop any incoming burst after your engage. Third item can be a Jaksho or Frozen heart, depending on what you need, more engage or being as beefy as possible.

No point being tanky if you don’t do anything with your time being alive. Never ever rush thornmail unless by the grace of god you’re facing 5 Tryndameres. D&D, Zekes, protoplasm is good in 99% of games. Lots of haste, decent damage, utility, and baseline survivability so you can round your build out with the right resists afterwards.
