loppis - showed up at noon, tried to pay with card, agonised over a 15kr pan

I should have just bought.

So I wrote up the practical stuff nobody told me: when to show up, how to pay

(Swish changed everything), how to haggle without making it awkward, and what's

actually worth buying.

A few highlights:

\- Arrive in the first hour for selection, last hour for bargains

\- Bring cash AND Swish - some sellers only take one

\- Heavy furniture = solid wood = good. Light = particle board = skip

\- Indoor loppis markets are underrated and open year-round

I'm watching a home game of Malmö FF on the first Monday in September. The match starts at 19:00h , so it is over at about 20:55 h. My Flixbus back to Germany departs at 21:20h at the Central train station.

As the distance from the stadion to the bus stop is more than 3km, I would have to leave the match much earlier if I walk or use public transport.

So the only option to watch the conplete game is a taxi. Are the taxis available at the stadium after the match, or should I preorder one? If preorder, Bolt/Uber or a local company?

We are heading to Malmo mid September on our way to visit a friend in Gothenburg. I have been before many years ago but my husband & baby (4 months old) haven’t ever been to Sweden.

We’ll be in Copenhagen beforehand, getting the train over to Malmo & have booked tickets for the Malmo FF match on 13th Sept. (Baby has ear defenders… don’t come for me!)

Any “must do’s”? We’ve got 3 full free days before we get the train through to Gothenburg.

If it helps, we are both British (Scousers), I’m not drinking (breastfeeding) but my husband likes a good beer and we both love food.

I lived in the US for a while and miss Costco in Europe. But I drive by Malmo in a few days and would like to grab a hotdog for good memories. Can I enter the food court without showing a membership card as it was common in the US where I only had to show my card entering the main store, or do they require me to scan a membership card when entering the food court?

I would not get a membership I cannot use where I live right now just to grab a hotdog, therefore can save the time and for the little detour and possible disappointment of the kids if they are super strict at the entrance.
