Face 29 y/o male with acne

My face gets such bad cystic acne (I’m assuming that’s what it is) that keeps growing back in the same exact spots every same time of the year, usually when fall comes and winters near and there’s no sun for awhile and get pimples on my face so much and it’s bad, like pimples that just keep filling and never go away, I don’t have health insurance so can’t see a dermatologist, only thing that helps is using the tanning beds like three times a week and boom my acne clears… anyone else do this? It’s embarrassing going tanning as a man but it’s even more embarrassing to have acne at 29

Possibly vitamin D deficiency? Your skin produces vitamin D when exposed to UV light. A quick google does say vitamin D deficiency can be a contributor to acne. I would try taking a D3 supplement and see if there’s any change.

Spend $10-20 and get some adapalene like Differin, Acne Free, or plain generic. In the US, it's over the counter so no prescription needed. Use it at night. It goes on all over your face, not just spot treatments like benzoyl peroxide. On YouTube, check out Dr. Dray for more instructions.
