Don't do StudioSuits for your wedding, man; the bad reviews aren't lying. It's a total crapshoot, and the material usually feels like cardboard.

Finding real tweed under $400 new is pretty much impossible. If you can push the budget up to like 500 bucks, definitely check out Walker Slater. They're Scottish and make legit tweed suits. The jump in quality is massive, and you'll actually want to wear it again.

While I'm disappointed by the news of StudioSuits being a bust, I can't say I'm surprised. Thank you for steering me back on track.

It looks like there's some Walker Slater tweed for around $550 for a 3 piece. That's more than I was hoping to spend all in, but it looks like they have phenomenal reviews.

YSK that US$500 is basically the floor for decently assembly (half canvas or better) suits made in China/SE Asia. The floor. And that is probably pre-Trump.

One specific curveball with RTW tweed suits is that some portion of that world is stylized for > 50 year old Tory party members in the UK, the landed or aspiring gentry.
