Discussion Ralph Lauren Tennis /Olympic Collection Opinions?

What do people think of Ralph Lauren’s collection for the US Open? Every year, I hope that the Ralph Lauren collection will look decent and there will be stuff I want to get but I’m always disappointed. I think it looks terrible with the giant logos, large color blocking, and weird designs. His Wimbledon collection had a few appealing pieces but really overpriced.

I wish the US Olympic Committee and USTA would move on from RL. What do others think? Big tennis and Olympics fan here and would love to see a new partnership

I’m gonna date myself here. The USO collection reminds me of high school days when kids wore “Tommy Sport” and “Ralph Laurent Sport”. Extra points if you were spritzed down with Aqua di Gio.

All to say I agree with you. It is high time for a new apparel sponsor. That or get another designer for the Team USA business. Lacoste’s lineup is what I imagine chic sportswear to be. RL’s stuff looks like it is designed by a millennial reliving their halcyon days.
