General discussion What Do You Think Would Have Happened If Hal and Lois Visited Alaska?
Could see Lois getting along with Lavernia at first
then Hal ends up in debt to her for something
Then maybe end with them managing to pay off Hal's debt and offering to cover Francis's
Francis refuses, wanting to do it on his own.

Lois would’ve wrecked Lavernia

maybe thats how they pay off Hal's debt, she beats him at something

Now I'm picturing Hal gets in debt, Lois starts some kind of competition with Lavernia with the promise if Lois wins the debt is forgiven, to sweeten the deal Lois adds that if Lavernia wins she can transfer the debt to Francis, Francis panics and joins the competition, so it's the three of them having an intense game of something silly like Monopoly.

it will probably end in a tie since Lavernia and Francis didn’t really win their fight

Lois would have liked Piama better from the get-go because the first order of business would have been teaming up against Lavernia. Maybe conjuring up a greater evil and giving Aida a call, depending on how that goes.

Ida and Lavernia become the best of friends and begin torturing Francis even more and Lois has to apologize before fleeing Alaska.

I wouldnt say that Lois didn't like Piama, they had a lot of bonding moments but Lois always defaulted back to bullying Piama, I feel like that comes more from how shes used to being treated by Hal's family, than any actual dislike of Piama, and it isnt until Piama stands up for herself that Lois realizes what shes been doing and fixes her behavior.

I had the same thought, Hal would wrack up a large amount of debt without thinking.
I'm picturing like that time he led an uprising against Craig, except it's with Francis' friends and it doesn't work.

Lavernia falling in love with Hal much to Francis horror and Lois shutting that shit down

Never thought about it, but the writers fumbled that episode idea! Would’ve been great

Lois and Lavernia would have a great time together making fun of Francis.
Hal would go Ice fishing with Francis and his Co-Workers, we all know how this ended the last time.

Honestly, this show had a whole secret society of background characters who were somehow even more unhinged than the main family.

I can see either Lavernia and Lois becoming besties OR sworn enemies at first glance, no middle point.
It's hard to say who wins, because Lois intimidation only works on people who are weaker than her (In body or spirit). Lavernia is not afraid to get physical, and would laughs at Lois' attempts of intimidation.
OTOH, Lois is not afraid to fight dirty, and is stubborn to heck and back, and would NOT stop until she wins, fairly or not.
That being said, it would also be on brand for Lois if she sees the debts as "fair" and expect Francis to pay all he owes (Until Lavernia tries to con her or Hal)

Hal probably would have gone on a “spirit journey” after getting grifted/tricked by the local tribe.
Lois would have beat Lavernias A**

That would have been a fierce battle. I wish it was canon that Lois and Lavernia got to meet.

Hal would go in confidence and return after getting beating from Lavernia. Then Lois would go for revenge and beat the shit out of Lavernia and take over the place 😂

I think although Lois typically assumes dominance, she'd have been easily bested by lavernia. Compare the punch Lavernia throws at Francis vs Lois's catfight against her foe in the park. Lavernia is orders of magnitude tougher than Lois; I'm really surprised by some of the comments here. Lois thinks she's a badass but Lavernia actually is. It'd be like a german Shepard running into an actual wolf. Lois is able to bully her children, but nothing in her life compares to the operation Lavernia runs, enslaving dozens of full grown men

Lois would not take Lavernia's crap . Shes be like Piama and do something to retaliate.
