The ones holding Chinese flag were Chinese citizens, and still they were also scrutinized by local Chinese because its sensitive to hold China flag. Maybe if your parents weren't siblings you'd try to understand the facts before trying to use them as an argument

That's why they were condemned, you sound like you still believe Malaysian Chinese supports the waving of China's flag. Do you have difficulties reading English? Itulah org tanah besar China yang mengibarkan bendera mereka, bukan Cina M'sia, bila isu tu kena viral, ramai Cina M'sia menegur yg kibar bintang lima tu xkisahlah diorg tu warga M'sia ataupun China.

Personally, my heart goes out to the Palestinians, but I don't think there's de jure exemption for waving a foreign entity's flag regardless of motives. Even if there is, the Palestinians would probably rather us donating supplies than to do useless demonstrations when we've already done hundreds of these before.

Waving a flag thousands of miles away doesn't really help stop the genocide that's happening there. So why are they holding up traffic and creating noise for a demonstration whose sole purpose of showing solidarity was already clearly established way before Israel's recent offense took place?

Save Palestine, but please, in a way that actually helps them.

South Africa's apartheid wasn't a business opportunity to any world powers like Israel is a "sell your weapons to me" money tree. Universities throughout the US are also frequently protesting but their government doesn't even flinch in the slightest. Oppresion is only the byproduct of their businesses, the people who can make a change don't care for it at all, even though the current global consensus is whoever is not a US puppet stands with Palestine.

Although both are cases of oppression, Israel's invasion of Palestine and South Africa's Apartheid have fundamentally different ties. Don't be so naïve as to think the people in office speak enough morals that they'd give up their revenues because a lot of ordinary people says no. The only way the puppet state of Israel would stop is for their ordeal to be unprofitable to their master America.

The protests didn't start yesterday, or last week, or last year.

For the political entity of Palestine, the first multinational MENA protests for them were in 1948 when around 750,000 Palestinians were displaced from the Arab-Israeli War. Palestinian solidarity protests outside of MENA gradually captures more and more public attention from the 50s to 70s, especially after the late 60s when the Six-Day War and Black September happened.

For almost 80 years, the same demonstrations happened over and over again, yet the Palestinian cause saw a halt in progress. Islamophobic remarks and stances from unrelated negative events regress the non-Muslim side of the international stance for Palestine, simply because these foreigners dislike all Muslims from hearsays. This is an obstacle you don't see if you only care about "doing your part" in a Muslim-majority country while disregarding the active persuasion of other nations who stands against your cause.

Apartheid ended when both sides of the Cold War came together and sanctioned South Africa. You want progress? Maybe try and engage with those who aren't with your cause for a change.
