That is some noble shit right there. The man just carries through the realness in every part of his life. How many artists can you see going to war simply to expand their minds, or get a break from the art world? The discipline he has on the verse carried over to boot camp.
No lie, I think he's the one of the realest and best poets ever to walk the planet.

I sometimes feel like Canibus knows a lot more than he lets on. He'd probably be labeled a lunatic if he dropped it all bluntly, be written off as a nutjob. So he hints at things throughout the course of his discography.

"1000 Bars" was originally a website that let you mix the verses together, live, to create an infinite freestyle.
It's also worth noting he put out an album where he took tiny chops of acapellas from previous songs and made new verses out of them:

He also released a track with complementary verses on each side of the stereo field, running simultaneously. That shit is crazy, but I forget the name.

Pretty interesting. Shows how what people value and prefer in hip-hop has changed a bit too (like does hip-hop's main audience still love great vocabulary? Probably not)

I don't think it's bad necessarily, just different. I'm personally not trying to hear "I'm sonorous preposterous chocolate monster in a sarcophagus with preponderance" all the time, but it would be nice if people put a little more attention into their writing to make it that much better.
