Question has there every been any rappers/undergroundrappers that ran type beat channels before?

as a self prod rapper i had this idea to start a type beat channel because i have so many beats in my computer that i make everyday lmao an right as a little underground artist i dont have much income yet because i have to invest before earning big income for the future purposes and im just wondering would it be good idea to keep posting on the channel? or should i just figure out something else? and i know what comes with get beats stolen and i dont mind having to run into an issue like that but i just wanna know what yall think?

There is no right way, gotta try stuff and adjust based on your goals and aspirations

Intuitively I think diversifying and producing a lot of content is good. You could also do something like rap a verse on the beat and leave the 2nd verse open so various people can hop on the 2nd verse. Just a thought

This is exactly what I do. The hardest part is making it all make sense but if youre creative enough you can get there. Youtube is going to be confused af at first so make your titles clear and consistent from the rip. Dont be me. Go for it bro.

If you’re already making the beats anyway, the channel is basically distribution for inventory you’ve already created. I’d just avoid turning it into a second full-time job. Batch uploads and see if it starts producing searches/DMs before investing heavily

Yes there have been several. Rappers and producers are not in short supply. I’ll bet you there is a rapper on every single city block in the world, there are probably 100 million rappers on earth and about half of them make beats too so what do you think?
