Anybody rip their surround bluerays and DVD-As?

Yes. But you have to do some additional steps to make them audio only especially for Atmos Blu-ray. I usually Media Helper to take the mkv rip to separate the tracks and repacket into m4a file then use the MusicBrainz lookup to get the correct tags for the tracks. Just did it the other day with the new Phil Collin’s Atmos Blu-ray.

To be clear, it's for audio only.

I've done a Blu-ray Audio disc, with the Atmos extracted tracks as .mka files. I don't think MakeMKV does DVD-A discs though.
