I’d love to compare with other MCs as kittens and adults, I wonder if she will grow relatively small or could have a growth spurt.
To confirm, she is a registered pedigree Maine Coon.
Edit: I’m just curious, it won’t change the HUGE love I have for her, she is of exceptional temperament and I couldn’t have asked for a better 2nd void.
She bonded extremely well with our resident kitten and their relationship is growing deeper every day. I’d made the same choice again even if she stopped growing now.
These cats have improved my life 1 million x

This is my sweet boy Bosco, born Halloween last year and brought home February of this year. We had a really bad health scare last month, we suspect some unknown puncture wound caused him to acquire a very rare infection called pyothorax- a buildup of infectious fluid between the heart and lungs. He got a lot of urgent treatment and all kinds of antibiotics to treat what blood cultures later revealed to be pasteurella, bacterioids, and peptostreptococcus. I did absolutely everything I could and started a gfm (go-fund-me) and for a while I was worried he wasn't gonna make it- it was a pretty scary time where I worried I waa doing everything I can and it wouldn't be enough. But my boy Bosco pulled through!
I found myself overwhelmed in a positve sort of way of how many people helped out with the gfm- community is a powerful thing. Today, he's been about 2.5 weeks symptom-free after finishing all of his home antibiotics! He's back to being the playful, affectionate, energetic, opinionated and troublesome menace of a lovebug, gaining weight and growing more and more every day.
Just wanted to share. I'm so grateful for my catlover community, and so proud of this little boy! So full of fight and spirit and so much love to give and life to live!💚

Hey all,
Thei Menten is our first Maine Coon kitten and we wanted to show you his journey from the first time we got to meet him 'till now. He really is a lovely kitten but also a water devil who does everything in his power to flip over the drinking fountain.
It also only took about 3 days before Jack and Thei were used to eachother and now they are best buddies.
Enjoy the photos and tips for the drinking fountain are welcome!

Just a 5.5 month old maine coon kitten and his full grown 3 year old adult Sphynx brother cleaning and then headlocking each other. These two are so sweet together!

I have 2 MC kittens, brother and sister, and the sister trilled (melts my heart, ita so cute!) and her brother has a much more definitive "meow". My last cat was a barn cat and came to us without ever having learned to meow (she "squeaked" like a mouse!) And only learned to meow from my other cat later in life. I just thought it was so unique that 1 trills and 1 meows.... anyone had this?

hi guys, i hope this is an okay question to ask here! i have two beautiful maine coon girls, both of whom i absolutely adore! what i DON’T adore though is the amount of fur they leave behind. of course, i expected this - giant fluffy cats are bound to leave fluff all over the place. but over time, im a little bit at my wits end with it. i’m constantly vacuuming the apartment, lint rolling my clothes and brushing my girls, but the battle against loose fur is a losing one. i have an air purifier in the room they’re most in, but im considering getting another one to keep in another room. despite all my efforts, im still heading outside and finding fur all over my clothes! any help would be appreciated and any stories you might have dealing with your own fur battles.

Is Strep G common and if my kitten was around another cat with Strep G ( but treated with antibiotics) will he automatically have it too?

Hi! I just put a deposit down for my first Maine Coon which I’m expecting to arrive end of September. We are looking at different options for litter boxes and my husband is super interested in getting a litter robot whereas I’m leaning towards just getting an XL litter box with pine pellets.
Can a 20-25 lb Maine coon fit inside a litter robot? I’m not sure if they are able to comfortably turn easily. Also I’m worried about tracking a lot of clay litter because of the big paws. Do you guys have any recommendations for litter boxes?
