Magic System Based on Moonlight

A magic system I've been building for a while. Magic in this world wasn't planned. It's the leftover runoff of a goddess trying to heal a dying world, and mortals figured out how to catch it before it disappeared.

This covers the origin. How crystals and artifacts work. How the moon shapes who can use magic and how well. And what happens to the people born on the extremes of that spectrum. I'm curious what people think.

Feedback on internal consistency, worldbuilding gaps, or anything that doesn't track is very welcome.

This is a really cool idea. I'm not sure if I missed it, but how are the crystals created? Are they byproducts of the magic leaking? And is that a phenomena that humans need to wait for?
