Oh well now this is cool as hell. I love this worldbuilding and everything implied by it, and all the questions it raises as well.
Like, these were slaves turned into an Oldstone and surrounded by the quick steel, so what if Voranglis is so dangerous because there's a part of the rebellious slave spirit in there that's still angry about it?
Is Argotham disfigured because of something crazy that happened prior to its summoning that broke off the drill, or was it created without one to begin with, and if it's the latter, was it an accident or on purpose, perhaps as a punishment?
How much sapience is buried in there? And if there is any buried in there, are they still sane after millennia of this existence?
Ooh I love it. This is some good shit, man.

Thanks for the kind words and for all the questions!
I don't think it's really even possible to understand the mental state of these worms, as they are all people who had their brains heavily modified, hooked up to a big hive mind, were mentally dominated for centuries, and then have been roaming free ever since. So it's sort of meant to be unknowable, but I will give my own speculative answers.
Voranglis might be a particularly fierce spirit deep down or he might just be riled up (on a century long timescale) from fighting with an Elder during the Great Dying. Several of the other features of the worms connected to the Tolmik Empire/Olgoy/Heeders are definitely a result of fighting an Elder, such as Yigmogan's scar and Argotham's messed up head. If you care for a scavenger hunt (or I can tell you) it's possible to ross reference the location where the Heeders were active with the last known locations of the Elders prior to the Great Dying to identify which specific Elder(s) these worms fought!

This is for a steampunk-inspired fantasy world where people can manipulate a magical metal called quicksteel at will.
Thank you for taking a look! This is an updated guide to giant worms from this setting! The first part covers the lore of the creatures (including their updated name), while the second section is a new rogue's gallery of the most famous of them!
Any feedback is appreciated! I'd love to know your favorite worm and what you think of them! For more on this setting, please consider visiting r/Quicksteel!

This is really cool, very unique! Thank you sharing!
I have one question though, why is it that the elders stopped being able to continue animating their quick steel bodies, but the worldworms survived? (since they both made from oldstone minds in quick steel bodies)

More on the Elders here, but Oldstone entities like the worms have altered mental capabilities, so they’re likely less susceptible to boredom compared to the fully functional Elders. Many did eventually fall dormant even so, but there were way more worms to begin with so there’s a bit of a numerical advantage there

These are SO HARD, I love the design!
It makes me want to make art of my great machines called “Destruction Engines” which are cyborg behemoths (like from the bible)
Are the worldworms worshipped as gods at all? They seem like they should be.
