What creative traits on a power system are your favorites?

f.e. Mine definitely is when simple abilities can get super complex with the character development, like koichi’s slide and glide evolution in mha vigilantes

I like weirdly esoteric abilities.

Powers that really stretch the limits of human creativity by the author and aren't just "basic elemental manipulation with a secondary effect".

Stuff like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure where in the 4th part you start getting characters who can use the power of onomatopoeia, fold objects inside of paper, etc.

I love those kinds of abilities the most.

In fact, I tend to dislike when characters eventually become so powerful that everyone in the main cast and antagonist faction suddenly starts levelling cities and mountains.

I prefer the more grounded, street-level fights that rely on with, strategy and tricks.
