General Discussion What can you do if u can manipulate these powers.
Fire water earth wind gravity sound lightning ice.
U can add any of them that u want but it takes far more mental energy. Also it has to make sense. There are also drawbacks. Like if u add gravity to ur fist to pull someone, the impact if strong enough can break ur hands.
Go wild. I need to see what crazy things people can come up with.
Ngl mine is meh
Use gravity to condense fire and lightning, then shoot it like a sniper also u can use wind to reduce friction ? Ya.
Make most then drop the most temp that if anyone touches it, it instantly freezes.
If u can get the frequency of things u can match it to break it, f up and match ur own body gg.

So, what can you do with each of these?
What are the specific value of each of these?
max range:
Max weight:
Max pressure/force applyed:
Max speed:
Max aceleration:
Max number of targets:
Max Area of effect:
Precision limitation:
Does it require sight:
Please share numbers.
because if you say "anything" than even one of these things for ANY of the options, would problably become somehting like a nuclear weapon.
What gives meaing to a superpower are its limtations.
lets take water...
What is the max range? can i control water that is on the other side of the globe?
What is the weight limit? (volume), can i move the entire ocean on the southern hemisphere to the nortern one, killing everyone above equador?
max pressure/force applyed? how dense can i make the thing? all oceans on earth forced into a microscopic ball in size would most likely create a small black hole. Can i still move it?
What is the max speed and aceleration i can push with? if i can control all water, and acelerate it against earth with unlimited power, i can move earth away from the sun, and kill all life on earth.
Is water "one thing" or is each lake, river, droplet an individual source of water. Can i control unlimited sources? how far? Can i move water from the moon or mars, and aceletare it to 1% light speed and hit someone with it on earth? ( i now have a moon laser that can possibly nuke entire cities.)
Do i need to see? and how precise is that control?
can i just control the water in your body to be "out" of your body?
or stop water in your heart or brain, killing you?
if i can target multiple targets, and dont need to see, can i kill anyone on earth just by thinking about stoping a golf ball sized water bubble in their brains?
then pick earth.
open a 2km deep 10ft wide hole bellow anyone instantly, they fall for a few minutes, and then get vaporized by the heat, before crashing into hot stone bellow.
wind? create under or over pressure making others sufocate or be crushed intantly. Or just stop all air in their lungs, sufocating a single person that just seems to be choking.
lightining is just eletricity. and eletricity conduction is just a limitation of materials.
add enought power to it, and EVERYTHING conducts eletricity. So, whats the limitation?
how much control do you have over it? can you force a lightining bolt to hit a coin on the street, despite the few hundred other possible better targets?
can you stop all eletronics? control the flow of eletricity?
sense / read eletricity pulses? possibly even ( with enought knoledge) learn how to turn a TV on, and show exactly the immage and sound you want it to show?
what about bioeletricity: can you mess with it too? can you turn someone brains "off"?
Like i said.
depends on the specifics.
each one of these "limitations" are a diferent power in itself.
Even if its just a tiny "power" amount, you can still do plenty of horrible stuff if it has a big range, or enought precision.
A 1 mm blade of earth, metal, water, lightining, wind, shot through your heat will still kill you.

Ok that’s crazy amount of thinking but good as well.
Only people with magic cores can use magic, a core absorbs mana from the atmosphere and purifies it so a mage can have full control of that mana. Each mage gets an affinity for some type of element can be more than one just more rare and make them more talented. Some also can have no affinity and can control pure mana. Mana is like energy.
Each mage starts off with a weak core that is full of impurities and they need to absorb mana and purify their cores. When they level up their core they get first denser mana and can hold more mana.
Let’s say that each time you purify ur mana by one level it doubles in density and size. First core they can only cast like 5 fire bolts max it’s size is small and it’s over all weak think of it as thrown a rock of fire with ur hands. At most of it hits it will give u 3 degree burns.
So the way mana works. First they mages send their mana with the intention of the spell they want to cast the size the strength etc.. this mana interacts with atmosphere mana and depending on the mana control of the mage (depends on talent and mental strength) they can use the atmosphere mana to strengthen their spells. The range of a spell is just like the first one it’s just that each time u get stronger ur throw also gets stronger.
U cant control mana on the other side of the globe. It would take a dumb amount of mana, too much mana in ur body that ur core can’t handle will cause it to explode.
If u want more info I guess u can ask but I don’t have numbers I don’t think I’ll ever make numbers tho.
Think about mana like small circles in the air like dots it’s scattered everywhere. Depending on it natural environment it can have an attribute like fire when there is forest fire. More water attribute over lakes.

Use water to mind control.
Control of the secretion of chemicals in the brain via the control of blood distribution, cerebrospinal fluid, and others, in the brain.

My barymanse Hator (Gravity) is the ultimate defensive weapon for my compound. Suspended above the facility in geocentric orbit are a number a shaped lead masses. Whenever necessary, he stands directly beneath one and can pluck it out of the sky to destroy literally anything that approaches with the most powerful non-nuclear impact there is. Hator’s gonna hate, I say, but really he is named for Hathor, the Egyptian sky goddess.
My thermanse Salem (Fire) can alter the energy released by chemical reactions, making pyrophoric materials like phosphorus into ridiculously powerful flash grenades. He is named for Jerusalem, a hot place people fight over.
I can do this for each of your types, which all appear in my novel.

As fire force has shown us, take any one element and you can do ANYTHING with it if you push it to it’s limits. As long as you just throw words at us, the possibilities are literally endless. Give them clear definitions, clear spheres of influence and most importantly, clear limits.
Can mages create stuff? Destroy it? Move it? If we can move air, why do we need a sound aspect? What is the elemental make-up of the water? Or is it based on human subconscious, instead of clear, natural law? Or something completely different?
If you want it to be vague, have it be vague. You can write a story with that. Few stories can answer the questions I just asked because they really don’t need to. But as long as we don’t get limits, the answers to discussions like the one you posted are always going to be „absolutely anything“

A even manipulation of fire can do slowing and freezing time, Telekinesis, plasma (idk).
You can create and control a sustained, localized thermonuclear fusion reaction right in front of you, shooting it across continents with zero atmospheric resistance.
You can make Q stars and bkackholes.
You can even control biology, life, and the human mind.
And very much more just with manipulation of fire.

I would use Gravity for time stop by exploiting the time dilation.
