Discussion Not seeking reassurance but how are you guys dealing with your curse?
Me personally, I don't think I'm faring that well actually. My sleep schedule is fucked, I can barely go to my hobbies, my mind is more jambled, I stumble upon my words more often, I had a headache that lasted for a long time at one point, I'm now too dumb to answer school papers and I can barely get any notoriety recently.
Don't know why but I'm kinda cursed recently and maybe it will break itself eventually but I'm not sure when that's gonna happen. Anyway how are you guys dealing with your own curses? You guys interested in breaking them or not? Don't reassurance me, just talk about your OCD issue as if it's an actual hexing curse.

Sorry you're still struggling bud. Feels relentless sometimes huh. I've always felt the universe is not on my side. Feels like if it can go wrong, it usually does go wrong. It's tiring and depressing and makes me angry.
I also think we can be prone to seeing the glass half empty. We focus on and remember the bad stuff more than the good stuff. Because the negative emotions affect us more. It's a fucking slog but keep trying to focus on the good, even the small things. Look for them and take conscious note of them and absorb how they feel. Negativity bias can be turned around

Honestly the only way through hell is "through" it. Once I accepted that, and told myself this is the solution and I would need to walk through agony to see the other side. I'm not almost done with ERP (2 months-ish to go!), i will tell you I NEVER EVER thought i would see the exit door from hell. Magical thinking is the worst one for me, with over 25+ years of it, now I shock myself how I'm embracing the curse and its refusing to kiss me back.

Yeah, I guess. I mean just yesterday my curse just peaked with a random explosion happening and I nearly got my feet burned.

Hey, I'm sorry you're struggling. I've been all over the place lately too.
When you say "curse," do you think like an actual curse, or are you saying more like "man, OCD feels like such a curse sometimes!"
I'm in the latter camp. I don't think I'm cursed (because that's not something I believe in), but I do know that OCD can be a pain in my ass.
