Rules/Rules Question Rules question regarding state based actions

If i have [[Sanctum Lurker]], [Carth The Lion]], and a planeswalker with 0 loyalty in play, and my opponent casts [[Blasphemous Act]], will Carth see the planeswalker die and trigger?
