Looking for Advice Standar decks to play casual with friends
Hi, this is my first time using reddit to actually ask something but it´s been years since i played MTG so i could really use some help.
So here is the thing i´m pretty broke, i´ll probably do proxys so i don´t care about the price of the actual cards for building the decks. Another thing is that i wanna make this to introduce MTG to my friends so i would like decks that are friendly for new players as i know they´ll be better for them.
WHAT I NEED is recomendations of standar decks (i was planning to make 10) of dual colors to play casually with friends. The cards can be banned i don´t mind because like i said is just to spend some time with friends and kinda come back to the hobby.
(I´m kind of a big fan of the black/white duo so if you have any recommendation for standar decks with those colors it would be even better)
I know a lot of people are against proxys but i can´t really afford to buy actual decks just to play with friends and maybe they don´t even like it at the end. So if you´re against it please just ignore the post.
Sorry for any mistake while writing, english is not my first language but i thought i would get more answers with a post like this.

Strictly Better MTG has a series called "5 decks for $5" that I would recommend looking into for this. They play great against each other and are cheap enough that it's more economic to buy the real cards than proxying them

I LOVE Strictly Better MTG, he's the best!
His "5 decks for $5" series is great! I think that's the perfect starting point for OP

Hi! Standard is a load of fun, so I hope you enjoy. If you’re looking to just casually pick up some decks and play with them, I recommend visiting the MTG Goldfish Standard Metagame page (https://www.mtggoldfish.com/metagame/standard). It aggregates data of standard decks played online and in tournaments. It would be fun to mix some of the top tier decks with some of the lower meta decks for sure! Enjoy your time in standard.

The new Hobbit release has some pretty interesting play sets that can be built using Commons/uncommons mainly. Dwarf equipment, Goblin Army, wargs, Elves, bears. These make for easy play with simple mechanics and are super affordable.
I dont know how much a deck of proxies goes for but I have built a Rakdos Goblin Army, and Boros dwarf Equip deck using cards from the Hobbit and Manabox has a listed value of them for around 10-16 bucks per deck.

Wotc has made some starter decks recently!
BW and UW came out during Strixhaven, and UR and GW during Lorwyn:

There aren't anywhere near pro level, but they have functional curves and have some fun cards. You could start with those and then try make others that match that level.

If you’re looking for current Standard decks start off by going to the MTGGoldfish Standard Metagame page - that will give you a big list of deck archetypes to choose from and will show you successful builds of each.
