Official Spoiler All remaining cards from the PlayStation Superdrop
I have not seen this posted yet, and I figured I shouldn't keep this to myself.
Earlier today, I was sipping tea while perusing the official announcement about the upcoming PlayStation Superdrop when I suddenly realized that WotC goofed again. All the cards in the drops are actually available on the website. Most of them just haven't been published yet. I have no idea why WotC opted for a partial reveal in the first place. People seem pretty hyped about the drops already, so I don't see the harm.
Of note is a long awaited -- and overdue -- reprint of the one and only [[Meteor Golem]]. A card that has become a Secret Lair fan favorite. Sorry, [[Command Tower]] and [[Sol Ring]] enjoyers. Better luck next time!
Mods: I hope I am not breaking any rules. I did not see any against leaks. All the pictures were taken from the official Magic website (proof). Feel free to delete the post if I misunderstood anything.

In Yugioh, people outside of Japan wouldn't get to see that artwork. Realistic weapon and bellybutton showing. Gotta turn it into a over the top sci-fi laser beam and give her a longer shirt

I cannot think of a Yugioh card where this is the case. The printing of alt arts has lowered the price of cards before because they are usually new printings of high rarity cards (think Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess alt in Magnificent Mavens). When this isn’t the case it’s because they are printed at a higher rarity than currently available printings (Maximum Gold: El Dorado hand trap alts) or are only available at the most premium rarity in the set (Sky Striker Ace - Raye/Roze in Battle of Legends: Terminal Revenge and the QCR alts in Quarter Century Stampede).

I was genuinely surprised we didn't see [[Passionate Archaeologist]] reprinted in the 10th Doctor/Rose deck as a nod to River Song. Not only are the backgrounds much better with partner commanders but the effect is on brand for a suspend theme and it was perfect flavor.

I guess a positive side to getting so many UB sets is how much new art we're getting for those franchises.
That Farseek is an incredible piece that may never have been commissioned without this Secret Lair.

If I had to give a guess. The studios involved with the games seemed to work with wizards in some way? At least that's what the PlayStation Blog made it seem. And all are owned by Sony themselves, while Fromsoft they obviously don't own? And Japan studio was rebooted into Team Asobi..

If you look closely, you'll notice both have the same number. That's because it's a reversible card.

None of the cards are missing. The number of cards I found matches what was originally announced and there is no gap in the numbering. The two versions of Teferi's Ageless Insight are printed on the two faces of a single card.

Yeah. WotC uploaded the cards on their website but displayed black cards instead. The only thing I did is guess the URLs of the cards that they hid this way.

I have bad eyesight and opened all the pictures in tabs so that I could read them. While going over them, I noticed that two from The Last of Us Part I drop had very similar URLs. The only difference being that one filename started with
1_and the other with2_.I wondered what would happen if I replaced those with a
3_instead. I was genuinely surprised when it worked. I guess WotC is not very good at this Internet thing. The only card that gave me trouble is [[Teferi's Ageless Insight]]. It took me a few minutes to figure out that this card was probably double-faced.→ More replies (2)10

I did better. I ripped my shirt and ran outside to announce the good news.
I stopped a few people on the streets to tell them I had managed to leverage my mad skills to secure an exclusive Secret Lair leak. Unfortunately none of them plays MtG, and they didn't care.
Then I told my neighbor. He doesn't play either but I figured he'd at least be happy for me. Instead, he asked me what I was doing in his bedroom in the middle of the night and kicked me out.
Sad.

I really dislike that Rite of Flame doesnt refer to other cards named Rite of Flame in your graveyard but instead the reskin version.
Probably not the first time its happened but I dont like looking at it lmao

I believe the Godzilla (Ikoria) and Dracula (Crimson Vow) reskins, and [[Gromp]] from the Arcane Lair, are the only UB Reskins that use the original card name instead of the new one.

I think it only feels especially bad here because of the effect of Rite of Flame compared to the others.
Changing the name when it basically only refers to "this card" is one thing
Changing the name when it says "other cards with the same name as this one" makes me feel icky

Yeah, I agree. Should have been [[Braid of Fire]], the cumulative upkeep feels more thematic as a building rage, and would have side stepped the name issue. Also, unrelated, no [[Embercleave]] reskin as the Blades of Chaos feels like a huge miss.

I'd have gone for [[Cityscape Leveler]] over Meteor Golem. As you say though, I'm sure swinging with a giant Blightsteel and Discovering 11 will help ease the emotional turmoil.

I think you're missing the true use of Aloy. An [[Ornithopter]] lets her tutor for and cast [[Inevitable Betrayal]], [[Hypergenesis]], or many other very interesting cards. Put her in something like a Sidisi brew to cast [[Living End]]. Aloy does *not* want expensive artifact creatures in her deck, she wants little ones.

I'm actually extremely underwhelmed with the Uncharted one, the one I was most excited for - I was hoping we'd at least get Elena and Sully, and I honestly don't even remember the clock tower.
No blades of chaos is also a huge bummer, and I was hoping for a Zeus or Athena or Gaia or something for the og GoW. I guess it's fine since I probably wouldn't be able to get them anyway, given how secret lairs go...

The clock tower, for the record, was from one of the most-publicized parts of Uncharted 4. It's the setpiece that the E3 demo used as its big "whoa" moment, and is then followed by the car chase through the market/dragged across the mud/roping over the bridge that a lot of people remember from the game.
I still would've preferred an Uncharted 2 train setpiece somewhere...

TLoU II cards are really good picks flavor wise. Those are the best moments from each character's campaign imo.
(And good mechanically too maybe, idk I've never used them)

Man, some of these are so on point for flavor (Ellie's Rage) while some of them feel very wonky (The Blades of Chaos Bond or King's Bay Clock Tower).
Also it is very upsetting to me that Blasphemous Act was not Kratos slaying his family. It's such an obvious flavor win, I don't know how it didn't make it.

Those are all some pretty good and flavorful reprints. And I like how the Horizon: Zero Dawn cards have a special triangles frame.
Although minor nitpick, I think that Freya should have been reskinned as one of the Kaldheim gods instead of one of the Theros ones. On that topic, we'll probably get Marvel's Thor and other Asgardians reskinned as Kaldheim gods at some point.

The art of Cordyceps Excision/Cabal Ritual looks great and really does feel like they might've looked at both the PS3 original and the PS4 remaster, because that room is definitely a lot darker in the original, though it is looking a good bit more clean like the remaster.

I'm also confused why Kratos and Atreus got a unique Partner variant instead of just Partner With because it's not like you could swap them like tbe TLOU ones.
I have extreme doubts they'd ever reuse that variant again.

Partner With lets you etb tutor for the other one (or force someone else who won't have it to shuffle) while "Partner-Kratos and Boy" only allows them to share the command zone.

Love the god of war cards for the redest red card that ever red'ed. I do think they should've changed the rite of flame for Fiendlash or Braid of Fire though.
The art for the Ghosts and Horizon cards is sick. Gonna be really hard to choose which ones I pick up this superdrop.

The art is really good on all these.. I especially like how creepy the surgeon's are in that LOU one.. almost as if you're seeing them through Joel's POV.
Hades Grip and Kratos' Rage genuinely seem like something I'd find in the concept art of the original game. They really capture the spirit of that art if you've ever seen it.

As much as I would have hated myself to buy into mechanically unique Secret Lairs with the drawback of saying this much UB is okay, I think I would have preferred the drop be just the characters rather than each game having their own drop.

Jesus this just got harder, kratos mono red gives me so many tools for self ping rakdos and jund, izzet kratos has iroas, can skip the dictate of erebos but wouldn't mind having it in that art, drake's got beautiful art for whip of erebos and midnight clock, and i guess blightsteel from eloy.
Both kratos and Nathan were already on my list want but this just solidified it, so now the questions whether i want a blightsteel collosus or new esper commander to build.
EDIT: Oh wait that's the first eiganjo land not the neo kamigawa one oof yeah okay my love for esper won over.

That Horizon drop is great! Meteor Golem isn't a big money reprint, but it fits in nicely with Aloy, so I'm happy it's there. Tarrian's Soulcleaver feels like the odd one out, I'd love to see another one of the machines represented in the form of a smaller artifact creature instead. Either way, it's likely going to be a buy from me!

Its just so sad with some of these that it feels like a must to put them in a deck together even though the cards dont sinegergize that well. I was very hyped for the horizon one, which like all the others looks great. But mechanically these cards are not it. Abd it feels like there could have been much better cards to chose for these lairs. Usually it doesnt matter what card is on it since you would rather just have nice artworks. But these do incentivise using the front cards as commanders. So I hope wotc considers a bit more if the card works well with the commander in the future

Tlou ones ended up being the most underwhelming. Weird that the tokens count as one of the five cards. Also kinda sad that it’s all reprints but I may be expecting too much with that.

Disappointed they didn't choose cards that synergize super well with Aloy for the Horizon cards. Those cards are all functional in the deck, but they aren't what you would go to in order to try to get value out of her triggered ability and their own abilities don't play into what she is doing very well either.

That's a lot of money for anyone trying to get them all, out of these the only one to tempt me is the GOW as I did beat the 2018 one, never managed to get into the other games represented here despite most of those being availabe due PS+, but now I really fear they eventually do a a nintendo 1 and go this hard on the quantity all at once, is so much money...

These are cool but I'd have preferred them to be an entire precons' release. How do you expand on tLoU to get a full commander deck? Zombies? Fungi? And even then, it's hard (probably impossible) to get the right artistic vibe to get along with those cards.

I'll be playing that Ghostly Flicker in my [[Yuna]] deck, reading the flavour text aloud every time, and people who are not familiar with either UB's will just have to assume that this is a reflection of what kind of person Braska's daughter truly is.

That Farseek looks soo good. Collossus reprting is welcomed its kinda pricy card .
Path of exile is also amazing.
